Computer
Numerical Control, better known as CNC, controls the motion and function of a
machine by means of a prepared program containing coded alphanumeric data. It
is capable of controlling the motions of the tool or work piece, the input
parameters such as depth of cut, speed, feed, and the functions such as turning
spindle on/off, turning coolant on/off.
CNC
routing or cutting is making a huge impact in the engineering and manufacturing
arena. It runs on a new generation of highly efficient and ultra-modern
technology. Along with the likes of injection molding and 3D printing, cnc cutting Brisbane is speeding up production and reducing the manufacturing cost
in many sectors. The different types and variety of materials routers can cut
make the technology a lucrative investment for any business.
Advantages of cnc
cutting-
(1) Extreme accuracy in manufacturing
(2) Less production time
(3) Improved manufacturing flexibility
(4) Hassle-free installation
(5) Contour machining (2 to 5 –axis machining)
(6) Reduced human error and lower
manpower cost
(7) Flexible and adaptive
(8) Completely automated
Cutting process-
For
getting the best result you should divide the whole cutting process into two
parts-
· Roughing cut- The roughing cut does the maximum
amount of the work, thus making the finishing cut much more elegant. During the
roughing cut, the initial part of the design has been completed. Leave about
0.5mm on the Z axis so that you don’t cut fully through the material and the
part is held in place properly.
·
Finishing cut- During the finishing cut process,
the intricate and delicate shapes of the design are done in cnc cutting Brisbane. You must change the finishing tools on a regular basis to ensure the
highest quality.
The
cnc router has motors that help drive the system on its axes to perform the
cuts in all the directions in a precise way and it is capable of cutting
acrylic, aluminum, aluminum composite, foam and wood with ease and perfection.
